Picture me 9 hours earlier, stumbling around in the morning minus 3 cups of tea, messy hair and bleery eyes, running into things, paper cutting myself and scraping my elbow on the lightswitch, carrying a knife. I find the box marked “returns – Aveda.” I stab it. I rummage through the paper (that’s when I cut myself), I pull out the Aveda Brilliant Damage Control, and I run upstairs to do my hair. “My hair’s been drying out.” I said earlier to my sister on the phone. “Even though all the products say they already include UV and heat protection.” They do. But they don’t. That’s why you need Aveda Brilliant Damage Control. If I didn’t use it, my hair wouldn’t grow. It would break off just below my ears.

Why is Aveda Brilliant Damage Control better than any other heat protection I’ve used? Chamomile, calendula, and order of ingredients.

Chamomile is a gift from nature. It’s one of the precious things God gave us to protect our skin, or hair, and is the most popular things for little baby’s skin.

Chamomile extract and Calendular flower extract are the 2nd and 3rd ingredient in Aveda Brilliant Damage Control (after water). So instead of being way down the list it makes up the bulk of this product.

If I could find a volumizer that has this level of heat protection, then I would need one less product. But I have yet to find something that claims to protect from heat that does it as effectively as Aveda Brilliant Damage Control with Chamomile.
