I’m wondering how much the softness of your water might have to do with the effectiveness of Wen as far as cleansing. I think the water here at our new house is quite hard, and I feel like I’m having more buildup in on my scalp and needing more cleansing than what Diva Curl is giving me right now. (Diva Curl is similar to Wen) So. We are supposed to get a water softener here in a couple weeks and I will see if my hunch is right and I might be able to go totally suds-free. I’d love to try the Juice product you reviewed! It sounded really good!

Carie! My favorite person to hear from. š I bet that’s a factor. Actually I like WEN….but have to use something else every so often and think that it’s so expensive. This stuff is very gentle also, you have to use more than most shampoos, so it’s something in between and seemed to make my hair more bouncy and shiny than WEN (which sometimes seem to leave it flat). Let me know how it goes for you.

I’ve noticed that as well! My hair is just completely stressed out where I live because of the hard water.. whereas visiting my grandma makes me not even need conditioner. That’s how soft the water is over there.. so strange.

I just realized I said “pesticides” and had to go back and look to make sure. It really says free of pesticides! Who would put pesticides in a shampoo?
