I was so excited to talk about these serums/primers that I didn’t finish putting my makeup on and ran to make a video! These serums are amazing and I’m having a hard time choosing. But I think my favorite is
It is balancing, mattifying, contains Vitamin C, retinol, and a host of other amazing ingredients! In fact, I’m kind of eager for my Ultra Light to run out so I can buy this – but Ultra Light is working well for my skin as well.
Key Ingredients: Chamomilla recutita flower extract, vitamin E, caprylic/capric triglyceride, vitamin C, grape seed extract, antioxidant, skin-repairing ingredients, Rubus idaeus, astaxanthin extract, retinol, cranberry seed extract, bisabolol, cell-communicating ingredients, green tea, chamomile, Glycine soja oil, vitamin A, Vitis vinifera
Sounds like an amazing cocktail of skin beneficial ingredients, right?
2. Then there’s RESIST-Ultra-Light-Super-Antioxidant-Concentrate-Serum/
This is the one I’ve been using and it’s working well for balancing and helping my skin to stay clear. But it does not have Retinol. It does however have niacinimide, Vitamin C and enzymes! That’s probably why my skin seems to be fairing fairly well even though I ran out of my RESIST antiaging clear skin hydrator.
Key Ingredients: vitamin E, niacinamide, vitamin C, ubiquinone, bisabolol, phospholipid, glycerin, adenosine , beta-glucan, resveratrol, hyaluronic acid, sea whip extract, epigallocatechin gallate, quercetin
This one was just too oily for me. Probably a great option for dry skin.
Key Ingredients: glutathione, epigallocatechin gallate, coenzyme Q10, turmeric, skin-repairing ingredients, thioctic acid, ceramide 3, soy extract, Arctostaphylos uva ursi leaf, ferulic acid, cell-communicating ingredients, tocotrienols, beta-glucan, glycerin, vitamin C, tocopherol, Curcuma longa root, ergothioneine, xanthophyll, vitamin E, palm oil, superoxide dismutase, ubiquinone, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, antioxidant, caffeic acid
I would use this but not in the same way as the others. I would not use this as a primer, as it is very retinol and a little oily. But I would definitely use this at night several times a week to every day. I wish I had this product.
Key Ingredients: retinol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, squalane, licorice extract, cell-communicating ingredients, Avena sativa, Laminaria ochroleuca extract, bisabolol, lecithin, palm oil, vitamin C, anti-irritant, antioxidant, vitamin E, kelp extract
All in all, I think the Skin-Balancing-Super-Antioxidant-Mattifying-Concentrate is the best bet for oily skin as it will give you a dose of Retinol as well, along with all the other amazingness it accomplishes for oily skin.
