Dear Paula’s Choice pressed powder,
You’re not my type. I’m more of a “loose powder” girl.
But, I haven’t had a loose powder that I truly liked in awhile. And all I ask of any powder is that you’re completely invisible. Also not choking me and letting my skin shine through while absorbing oil are nice bonuses. And you’re all that. Plus, you come in such a sleek package that I like to see on my countertop.
I think what I’m saying is, I’m sick of my type.
I’m glad I found you.
Now all I have left to do is go to the store and buy a Real Techniques Powder Brush to do you justice.
With Surprised Affection,
Marisa
If you’ve read my other post about the battle of the powders, this might be confusing. My conclusion is this: when I have drier skin, the Sonia Kashuk loose brightening powder is better, as its lighter and less coverage, and helps dry skin look more glisteney. But when my skin is more oily, like it is now, I find the Paula’s Choice pressed powder to be perfect, sets my makeup, absorbs oil and doesn’t look cakey. Lets my skin shine through.
So I like having both around as my skin can change from time to time.

Hey Anouchka! I think that Paula’s Choice Healthy Finish powder would be light coverage, to answer your earlier question. I think it would work for good skin days. π

Hehe, what a fun way to write a review π Funny how things can change eh? I used to think I hated cream eyeshadows and blushes. Today I am completely in love with them.

Oooh I’ll have to check out your blog for reviews! Glad you liked the format – I thought of doing this again as I have a very intense relationship with my skincare and cosmetic products. Some people might think I’m nuts but some people might be amused by it.
