Monday Morning Makeup Inspiration – GiGi Darcy!!! As seen in Lizzie Bennet Diaries

Capture

πŸ™‚ This one’s fun.

If you’re like me, you LOVE the Lizzie Bennet diaries.

And Gigi, Darcy’s modern day sister and style icon, always has perfect hair, clothes and face.

But her demeanor and social skills are humble, accepting, personable and graceful.

Her warmth towards Lizzie confuses and perplexes Lizzie, as it did the original Lizzie in the Jane Austen novel and every movie you’ve seen.

And apparently this is my “Monday sweater?” I have got to wear something more cheery, haha!

Also, I use two of the colors that I posted about in the Inglot color fail post, so they turned out to be really great colors. I didn’t know how to use them.

    1. Thanks Bun! Haha. My grey stripes match the wall. I just noticed that I wore the same sweater like in 4 videos – embarrassing! I wear a lot of other things but maybe I film on the same day of the week or something, haha.

  1. I love love this look… Maybe it’s just because I live in Japan and don’t get American Cable which keeps me largely out of the loop these days, but I’ve never even heard of the show you speak of. I wonder if I’d like it? Not that I have much time to watch anything right now, but I’m going to have to check it out!

    1. Hi Meg! So it’s a youtube channel. You just search for Lizzie Bennet diaries. I didn’t like it at first because Lydia’s really over the top with inappropriate language about what she thinks relationships are all about (think a modern day adaption of Lydia Bennet and I guess that’s what you get). But then the classic Jane Austen storyline just takes over and it gets better and better.
