Flick created with Nuance Eyeshadow Quad and Nuance Gel Liner

I love the Nuance Eyeshadow Quads (both the daytime and the smoky eye). They are smooth blendable pigmented silky non-creasy shadows. Instead of talc being the first ingredient, it is dimethicone. This probably creates the silky blendable quality. Rice lipids and Vitamins A and E would also contribute to the creaminess and are good for the delicate skin around your eyes. You can see the shadows softness, clarity and pigmentation in the photos.

Here I’ve created a contoured eye and used the Nuance Gel Liner in brown to create a flick.

The gel liner is good in that it really does stay put all day long through any event. But it is not the easiest to apply. It is what I am using right now because all liners, even really good ones, smudge on the upper part of my eyelid because of the shape of my eyes, even when I use primer. This pencil does not smudge or move at all.

With a softer liner, like a more liquidey one, it would have been easier to meet the top of the flick from the top of the eye. But I decided not to do that for this look.

musingsofamuse was not quite as impressed with the colors as I was – which surprised me – they go on beautifully. I think people’s skin affects the colors a lot, and different people have different reactions. You can see gorgeous photos of the product here:
