What a find.

You know me – I’m the picky eyeshadow girl. My Gold Standard in eyeshadows is Inglot – more pigmented, blendable and creamy than Urban Decay and MAC in my opinion, and less creasy.

But I had this $30 gift card I’ve been hanging on to from Christmas, AND a coupon, and well,….all the purples and greens and golds that have been dancing through my head were staring right at me.

And I’ve been counting the dollars I’ll have to spend to have a fully functional Inglot palette – and while it’s going to be totally worth it in the end, and less expensive than MAC, it’s not going to happen quickly.

But this….I just had to reach out and take it and pay for it with my gift card.

So I did.

Will there be reviews? You know there will be. Will there be swatches of all 36 colors? You know there will be. And will there be purples and greens and all manner of beautiful colors in my Monday Morning Makeup Inspiration posts? You know the answer! (Yes, for those of you not following). You know there will be! But for now, just all of the colors in all of their beautifulness. More splendor than a rainbow.

UD Naked palette nothing, Hand me some color please.

I don’t want to say much now (but I’m dying to), but I have a Monday Morning post all lined up with pictures of my first look from this palette, and all I can say is….for an Inglot Only fan, I’m very pleased. Soft blendable creamy colors, not chunky, glittery, weakly colored like sooooo many cheap brands. I know I have to give them more tries, and there has to be the color stay test, but I always thought that had to do more with primers and setters anyway. But for now, my first two swipes of eye color delivered gorgeous creamy color payoff.
